Walter Lubars Scholarship

The Walter Lubars Prize for Advertising is established at the Boston University College of Communication in honor of Walter Lubars, and in recognition of his countless contributions to launch the AdLab and develop, over several decades, our advertising program. The advertising industry is filled with Boston University graduates who began their careers thanks to this professor’s influence and often, his personal support and encouragement. Walter Lubars is synonymous with the reputation and success of Boston University’s ad program; his tireless efforts, creativity, and enthusiasm were instrumental in creating the outstanding program it is today.

In recognition of this lifetime of dedication, the Walter Lubars Prize for Advertising will be used to attract the best students to our ad program. The Lubars Prize will be awarded, annually, to a student entering the creative track of the ad program at the College of Communication.

If you would like to make a contribution to the Walter Lubars Prize for Advertising, please send a check made out to Boston University (please include “Walter Lubars Prize” in the memo line) to: Boston University, College of Communication, Attn: Robyn Neeley, 640 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.

You may also donate online or by phone by contacting the COM Alumni Office at 617.353.5660.

Thank you for your support!
